2014 Turkey Project
In it's 2nd year! A Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the "fix'ns" for one family in Newport and one family in New Matamoras. Planning underway now.

VBS
In the summer, CVBC members, friends and faimilies join together to produce and host an exciting Vacation Bible School for local children. Filled with great props and sets, contemporay music and fantastic teaching sessions, you won't want to miss being a part of this great event!
Church Dinners
CVBC believes in getting together for food, fun and fellowship — in any order! What better way to get to know one another than with a meal! There are several events throughout the year.

Fishing Tournament
Started in 2012, a free non-professional fishing tournament gets kids and adults together for a fun day of fishing, food and prizes. Held on the banks of the Ohio River, the event is contengient on weather and river conditions.
Special Events
Several times throughout the year CVBC hosts special events and services for community participation. Community favoriates include the springtime Purse Auction and winter Missions Auction.

Missions
CVBC is active in local missions supporting several agencies such as Hospice and food banks. CVBC also identifies local individuals undergoing exceptional hardships and does what it can to eleviate suffering. CVBC also participates in local and state association mission programs.
